skazDec 9, 2011, 6:26 AM Go into power options, change plan settings, advance settings, hard disk, and select "turn hard disk off after" to "never". This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. So I just built a new computer over the weekend w/ a Sabertooth P67 motherboard. A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP.
I've been a long term user of ZA and have never really come across any issues, well none that i know of anyway. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa8006d11680, 0xfffff8000400b518, 0xfffffa800b384c60). Almost like it has to reload the drivers every time which is weird. Memtest86 Wait a couple of days and you will know whether the issue is resolved or not.
I look through the system log in event viewer and there it is....The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. Make sure the mouse drivers are installed. This means a hard coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted /NODEBUG. I forced it to sleep mode several times and so far no BSOD! You can re-install it if you like but i would say to not because of various reasons described in the "How to Geek" article.
