FIX SOLUTION HERE-Anyway here's how I found out how to fix, at the very least, my issue. Fortunately I've already used monitors at most of my clients, so I don't run into this very often anymore... Please try the request again. Dual Monitors Icons Keep Moving Then I just chanced messing around with the screen resolution and I swapped the order of my monitors in the screen resolution dialog box. I can't tell whether or not this changes the default behavior forever and for any non-specific second-monitor, but it seems to prevent the resolution on my laptop's screen from changing. Worked for me.
