After windows ends loading instead of user logging screen I get black screen with just mouse cursor. If so then unfortunately no, it does cripple performance a lot though. But when I switch to full screen in 1920x1080 I do! Kind of helped, yet I recall this not looking as terrible back on Win2k/XP.
